Love green tea but could do without the grassiness and overbearing astringency? This Houshan Huangya yellow tea may be just what you're looking for. An added step in the production process separates yellow from green tea. Heaping or smothering the tea after it's initial firing but while it is still damp, allows it to slightly ferment and oxidize, producing a more mellow, smoother flavor than that of most green teas. Produced in Huoshan County, Anhui Province, China.
Mellow, nutty, smooth and buttery, no bitterness.
